Code for Africa (CfA) is the largest network of indigenous African civic technology and investigative data journalism laboratories, that build digital democracy solutions that are intended to give citizens unfettered access to actionable information.
CFA empowers people to make informed decisions that strengthen civic engagement for improved public governance and accountability with over 70 staff in 20 countries.
The organisation uses technology and OpenData to build digital democracies that empower citizens, give citizens actionable information for better-informed decision making, and digital tools to amplify their voices, as that can hold the authorities (both governmental and corporate) to account.
Journalists are enjoined to register for the training to be among the range of fact-checkers all over the world.
