Davido versus Wizkid Contest

Since David Adeleke “Davido” and Ayodeji Balogun “Wizkid” broke into the entertainment industry, there have been arguments and debates over who is better and more influential between the two. On several occasions, fans of the two singers have taken to social media to throw banters at one another in support of their favorite artists.

Roundcheck moved to fact-check the post. A search showed that Davido has two siblings; Adewale Adeleke and Sharon Adeleke. The brother is the Chairman of HKN Music, the record label that manages Davido’s music career. Roundcheck also conducted a name search on Twitter. The account which Adewale Adeleke uses “@ChairmanHKN,” has been verified by Twitter and has 106k followers. Further findings revealed that the brother was born on December 11, 1988, not May 20 as seen on the fake account’s profile.

Conclusion

The account that made the post calling Wizkid to send his account number does not belong to Davido’s brother. The post did not come from Davido or any of his siblings. It is false.
