Verify Your NIN and Log In.

It is essential to verify your National Identification Number (NIN) and log in to the system.

Select The Date Of Birth Modification Option On Your Dashboard

Once logged in, navigate to your dashboard and select the option to modify your date of birth. This feature is only available to eligible candidates.

Pay The Modification Fee Securely Via Paystack

Upon selecting the modification option, you will be directed to a secure Paystack payment gateway to complete the payment for the modification.

The current cost of this modification is #15,000, which must be paid in advance before proceeding with the modification process.

 Enter NPC Certificate Number

After payment, you will be prompted to enter your National Population Commission (NPC) certificate number and validate it.

Your NPC certificate number is a crucial requirement for the modification process. If you are unsure about your NPC certificate number, you can obtain it by visiting the nearest NPC office.

Once you enter your NPC certificate number, your date of birth will be automatically filled in and will not be editable. If you have lost your birth certificate, you can perform the birth attestation online at http://www.nationalpopulation.org.ng, which provides a convenient and secure way to obtain your birth certificate.

Upload Your NPC Certificate and Any Other Necessary Documents

You will then be required to upload your NPC certificate and other necessary supporting documents. The NPC certificate is one of the most critical requirements for the modification process.

Depending on your specific case, you may also need to provide additional documents, such as a valid ID card, passport photograph, and other relevant documents.

Submit Your Request and Check The Attestation Box

Finally, submit your modification request and preview the adjustments made.

Before submitting your request, ensure to check the attestation box, which confirms the accuracy and truthfulness of the information provided.

Receive Your Modification Transaction Slip On The Modification Table

Upon submission, you will receive your modification transaction slip promptly on the modification table.

This slip contains essential details about your modification request, such as the date, time, and cost of the modification.

Get Notified Of Approval and Receive a NIN Slip Via Email

Once your modification request has been approved, you will receive a notification, and your NIN slip will be dispatched to your email.

You can also print the slip directly from your dashboard at any time.

The NIN slip is an important document that confirms your updated date of birth. It is recommended that you keep a copy of this slip for future reference.
