A report making the rounds on Twitter has it that a member of the Anambra Covid-19 task force was caught raping a lady they arrested for not obeying the law of usage of force mask A Twitter post by an account named: @Ecollins10, reported a case saying that Anambra Covid 19 task force was caught raping a girl they arrested for not using a face mask in their task force vehicle. Meanwhile, the identity of the rapists wasn’t revealed which makes the news shaky.
Roundcheck Findings
According to further investigations carried out by Round check, the news resulted to be fake news. A call was made to one of the Anambra state covid 19 lines, the receiver who claim not to have heard about the incident but promised to confirm later called one of our reporters back and debunked the news.
Furthermore, another member of the Anambra state covid 19 task force was contacted and he said, ‘‘it never happened”, he also debunked the news claiming it’s untrue.
